Settlement Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Settlement handling for Hong Kong and Overseas Equities, Bonds
  • Client instructions preparation in in-house system
  • Pre-matching with counterparties
  • Client reporting on a regular basis regarding trade status
  • Nostros and depot breaks monitoring ensuring completeness and progress
  • Stamp Duty Payment handling
  • Cash Payment handling
  • Carry out any other assignments as deemed necessary by the Management

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Business or related discipline
  • years to years or relevant practical experience is an advantage
  • Familiar with Equities settlement in custodian business
  • Familiar with back office system, e.g. Ayers, CCASS
  • Familiar with regulatory and compliance requirements for equities
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and typing both in English & Chinese
  • Able to work independently, collaboratively and demonstrate analytical skills
  • Able to provide recommendation to management to streamline processing
  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred
