Recently, AQUMON discovered that an unknown person(s) fraudulently using AQUMON’s company's logo, claiming to represent the non-existent company “Magnum Investment” (弘量投資) which sounds similar to AQUMON’s mother company “Magnum Research” (弘量研究). The person(s) involved will ask consumers in Hong Kong to join a WhatsApp investment discussion group. 

 

So far we have received no news of AQUMON’s clients receiving such calls and have reviewed AQUMON’s IT system to confirm there are no data breaches. 

 

AQUMON hereby announces that our investment philosophy is to generate investment portfolios for clients based on big data and rigorous scientific algorithms and as such have not set up such groups to recommend stocks to clients. 

 

So consumers and clients should beware that such calls and invites have no relation to AQUMON. If a customer receives an invitation to join a group with a fake AQUMON WhatsApp number please do not enter the chat group. The customer should not provide any personal information to the WhatsApp number or chat group.

 

In addition, we strictly protect our clients’ data. All personal data of our clients will be encrypted through cloud technology. AQUMON will not share our client’s personal data with any third party without authorization.
