Now you have a better option with AQUMON’s newly launched electronic Direct Debit Authorization function (eDDA). It supports instant transfers (as fast as 5 mins) with no transaction fees. Plus, it saves you the hassle of uploading a transfer-proof!

 

Electronic Direct Debit Authorization (eDDA) is a value-added service of the FPS system launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. It supports customers to authorize AQUMON to deposit funds into securities accounts from designated bank accounts.

 

You can directly deposit funds into your AQUMON account by submitting a deposit instruction on the app, after successfully completing the eDDA authorization. AQUMON will then send instructions to your bank to deduct money from your authorized bank account. You should be able to see your funds within 5 mins during Hong Kong trading hours. 

 

Here’s a visual step-by-step instruction on how you can utilize this new eDDA function:

 

1) Open the app and log into your account, click [My Account] > [Deposit] > [eDDA]

 

2) At the bottom of the page, click [Authorize Now] and input your trading password

 

3) Fill in the eDDA application (it may take 1-8 business days for approval with your respective bank)

 

After a successful eDDA application, follow the steps below to deposit funds directly through the AQUMON app:

 

1) Open the app and log into your account, click [My Account] > [Deposit] > [eDDA]

 

2) Select Transfer Currency and input Transfer Amount, click [Submit], and input your trading password
